They've been laying asphalt over the concrete on the east bound lane. Today we got to drive on the half they just got done with. ITS WORSE THAN WHEN THEY STARTED!! WHY DIDN'T THEY REPLACE IT WITH CONCRETE. EVERY EXPANSION JOINT AND CRACK THAT IS IN THE CONCRETE HAS ALREADY COME THROUGH TO THE ASPHALT, YOU CAN SEE THEY LINE UP WITH THE SIDE THEY HAVEN'T LAID ASPHALT ON YET. ITS ALMOST AS BAD AS HWY30 WEST OF AMES WAS.

Why can they not fix roads right? Does the state withhold payment when the road companies f-up?
