I don't know why Drake would even be playing the Iowa Powerball, he's already a world famous, although terrible, rapper.

And why would he need his own personal basketball arena?

A lot is never enough. This is why the rich buy things that make them more money. Duh.

So this will net around $50-$60 mil after taxes on the lump sum payment. Even if this is a diehard cyclone fan, can you see any more than $10mil going to the AD? Don't get me wrong that's a lot of money, but would it be enough to get the endzone project jumpstarted?
Re: $200 Million Dollar PowerBall ticket sold in Iowa
If I got the 50-60 million, I would negoiate with Jamie to give around 15 Million specifically for the SEZ, and for that I wouldn't want naming rights, but would like a pair of Season tickets for the rest of my life. :)
Re: $200 Million Dollar PowerBall ticket sold in Iowa
Couldn't you give pre-tax winnings as a donation?

No way you would get season tickets for life with that small of a donation. :jimlad:

Depends on how you do it.
Donate partial ownership of the winning ticket to the ISU Cyclone Club. That portion would be tax free right? Lets says it's $100M lump sum before taxes..... give ISU 20% ownership and they get $20 outright and if your taxes are 40%, you get $48M to take home. If you took it all your self, you get $60M and then could only donate $12M to ISU to end up with the same $48M in the bank.
Get a lawyer, write it up, go to the lottery office in a limo with JP.
