Lies Cartoons Are Telling Our Children
A friend and I last night were thinking of cartoons nowadays, and the lies that they are telling the youth of America.
Some examples:
- If you are being mugged, saying your attacker's name three times and telling him "no" will make him snap his fingers and run away. "Aw, man!"
- David Arquette makes a great parrot, and his career is doing JUST FINE.
- Phineas and Ferb are either independently wealthy children, or their parents just ignore the massive amount of credit card debt they accumulate each day.
- The "come inside, it's fun inside" part of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song is innocuous.
- Diego and Dora's parents apparently portray all Latino parents as not paying attention to their child, but instead letting them run off through alligator swamps and creepy forests with only a monkey as a companion.
- Baby jaguars are cuddly pets, they won't rip your face off.
Any others?

If you shoot a duck in the head point blank with a shotgun, his beak will spin around countless times and end up facing the opposite way

Re: Lies Cartoons Are Telling Our Children
Dinosaur Train (anybody?) is saying that if your parents are raising a random child that looks and acts nothing like you, DON'T ASK OR ADDRESS THIS SITUATION AT ALL.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. -

Scooby and Astro have been talking for what seems like 40 years.... I don't think this is a new trend.

If my kid said every single sentence as if she was hyped up on a meth/coke cocktail 24 hours a day, I would probably let her play unsupervised in an alligator infested swamp too.

Or if she had a trio of singing insects that followed her around and did a musical number every time she did something right, I'd make sure she wasn't in the house a lot.

I'm never totally sure if it's Rabbit Season or Duck Season.

Wayne from Higgly Town heroes is wrong, you should not store your toast in your trousers. The show in general is uncool, you cant hide your friends inside your body for transport.
