Living History Farms Race 2012
Registration opened last night at ten, and organizers expect the field to be full by the end of the weekend. This'll be my sixth year of slogging through mud, creeks and corn fields the weekend before Thanksgiving. Anyone else here doing it?

Re: Living History Farms Race 2012
I'm signed up for my 2nd LHF race. It's a lot of fun. Per the Facebook page the reached 1250 registrations in the first 32 minutes. Going to sell out fast!

Signed up this morning! I can't remember how many of these I've done - probably 8 or so?
Hopefully my sister didn't get too crazy last night and remembers to sign up before it fills up.

I'm in. Working on the beard already so I can craft a righteous handlebar mustache. Now I need to hit Goodwill for a Hawaiian shirt and a bad sportcoat. Gotta make it fun, kids.

I can't pull off a mustache alone without looking like a creeper, so I keep a trimmed beard for awhile before the run. Works well for me.

Yeah, I can't grow a beard because OSHA thinks I shouldn't have one. So if I want to pull off the Pre, I need to man up and rock the molestache.

Less than 1500 spots left as of two hours ago...crazy how fast it's going this year!

Re: Living History Farms Race 2012
Who's in? Weather looks decent considering the time of year. I think parking for packet pick up and the race will be a nightmare. With low water levels, I don't anticipate the stream crossings to get that muddy.
See you all there!

I'll be there. I polished off my training this year by skipping my running for three weeks (in favor of football games and hunting) and am going out for a birthday party tonight. I may just add the "icing to the cake" by taking some whiskey shots before the gun?
