American Horror Story: Asylum

Did anybody else watch the season premiere tonight? A lot of stuff was packed in, it will be interesting to see where they go with things this season.

I missed the first few minutes and the last few. Thought the DVR would catch it since I had last year's show on the schedule, but didn't realize the name was different. Set up to catch it next week. Looks good and definitely messes with my mind when I am up by myself at 2 am.

I know it is a totally new story line, but still want to watch season one. Last year hubby would turn the DVR off because it was on during the playoffs/World Series. Now we want to watch it and are missing a few episodes. Darn Cardinals. ;)

I liked the first season but I don't like this one so far. I'll watch it a couple more times before passing final judgement.

I watched last night for the first time because I've been wanting to see it, but never did last season. I enjoyed it. If I like this season, I'll probably go back and watch the first.

I was not expecting this element in the premiere at all, but I do have to admit that I think it could be a fun part of the story this season. Is he a serial killer or was he abducted by aliens? Are those 2 mutually exclusive necessarily? Now there's a dilemma to make you lose your mind.

They didnt kill him. Hes still alive on the floor while his girlfriend is running around the place.

I just watched my first episode of this series. That being episode 1 of season two. I liked it. Anyone know a good source for the Season 1 HD streaming? I check Hulu. It looks like they had it but no longer do. Anywhere else?

Finally got caught up on the first 4 episodes. I think it's been pretty fantastic, but man is it demented. It's a little different type of horror than the first season.

Season 2 is terrible so far. There's about 5 subplots but no main story. And they seem to be trying to fit in every type of horror story clique that they can.

I think the look and feel of it have been great. It has some great acting performances and production, and I'm willing to give them a chance to see where this story is going. It is an asylum so there will be a lot of different stories to follow, and I think they've pieced them together pretty well. Also, a pet peeve of mine, I find that people way overuse the word terrible when describing tv shows or movies. That word should only be reserved for things that are truly terrible. Like this show for instance.

sorry, next time i'll use turrible instead and compared to the first season it is so far. I'm planning on finishing the season to see where it goes. I'm really hoping that they have some really good twist that will tie the serial killer, ghost, demon possession, Nazis, zombies, and aliens together.

Couldn't agree with you more. Been disappointed with it so far. First season was creative and suspenseful with great characters. The characters in this season are boring and predictable. The plot is full of horror cliches. I am fully expecting to find out someone is Dracula and the Nazi doctor is building Frankenstein to rule his zombie army. For Heroes fans - this feels a lot like the same. Great first season then a huge tumble into bleh.
