    Soup Reciepes

    I miss Wartkniight's Best Things I Ever Ate threads, and I need soup and or stew/chili recipes.

    Potato soup recipe

    3 cans of chicken broth
    2 cans of cream of chicken soup
    1 bag of southern-style hash browns, frozen
    1/2 lb of bacon, cooked and crumbled into bits
    4 oz of cream cheese

    Combine broth, soup, hash browns, and bacon into crock pot. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. An hour before serving, stir in cream cheese until smooth. Done.

    I have a whole Pinterest board of just soup recipes. ;) Some faves are:

    Cheesy chicken stew
    hearty beefy stew
    Tortellini soup with Italian sausage
    cheeseburger soup
    chicken enchilada soup
    italian wedding soup
    chicken wild rice stew

    I can get recipes if any of those sound good.

    Best soup I ever make is without recipes. Throw in whatever leftovers you've got with lots of onions and garlic and cook it over low heat for a long time or in a slow cooker.

    Those all sound good. I must be hungry, never heard of it, but I could go for a bowl of Cheesy Chicken Stew or Tortellini soup with Italian Sausage.

    One of my favorites is a chicken rice curry soup.

    Chicken, brown rice, chicken stock, can of tomatoes, chopped onion, curry powder, etc.

    Don't have a recipe but when I get a soup craving, I think Hickory Park's French onion is some of the best.

    The one time I tried that was the first year we were married...it was sooo very very bad.
