Surly Beer
I'm heading up to Minneapolis on Thursday for the Vikings games and plan to stop at Blue Max and fill the trunk up with some beer. Anyone ever try Surly? What should I get?

Re: Surly Beer
Oh my God. Surly is absolutely incredible. I fill my fridge with it every chance I get. IMO the best they have is the Furious. I'm also a big fan of the Bender and the Coffee Bender. If you like coffee get the Coffee Bender, it is magical.
Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

EDIT: As long as you are there, pick yourself up a Pugsley.

Re: Surly Beer
I work very close to Blue Max, which is dangerous. I stop there much too often.
Try all the Surly! Furious is my favorite beer. Period.
Stop by Zipp's near the U while you are in town. It is better than Blue Max, IMO.

Like others have said, if you like IPAs, you gotta try Furious. If they still have Wet available, definitely try that. Fresh hop IPA.

Re: Surly Beer
Darn. I saw an empty can in a porta-potty in G7 two weeks ago, so I thought it might have still been in production for the season!

Drinking some Founders Breakfast Stout tonight. Good stuff.

Re: Surly Beer
Furious is the standard. It used to be the #1 IPA on a few beer rating sites.

I bought a bunch of Wet the week before KSU in Rochester and brought it tailgating. Might still be around in that part of Minnesota. I still have some Fest in my cellar and plan on bringing it Saturday.
Furious is the best full-time beer, followed by Coffee Bender.

Re: Surly Beer
I've had em all...Abrasive is my favorite but I really liked Wet. Its pretty interesting and really cool to see what fresh hops can do to a beer. Its pretty expensive and it needs to be drank asap, but worth it for sure.

Re: Surly Beer
Couldn't find any abrasive but picked up a few others. -
