Loved that one, but admit that I'm probably a little biased because it was filmed where I live.
Clooney and Pitt are fun in whatever they're in together, which helped make it funny. I did enjoy it, but not on the same level as some of the others. That's really cool about it being filmed near you.
Here's a hint: if the movie isn't like the book, DON'T CALL IT "<Author's Name> <Book Title>!!!"
Sure, some of the characters have the same names, but the powered armor, which the book spends an entire chapter talking about, isn't even in the goddamn movie. **** Verhoeven, now people actually think they've seen "Robert A. Heinlein's Starship Troopers" when it wasn't even ******* close.
I like the movie. It's entertaining. Call it something else and there's no argument at all.
Like "I am Legend". I like the movie a lot, it is nothing like the book though. Nothing at all.
Someone brought up that Sixth Sense is overrated in the other thread...which leads me to an M. Night flick that I think is underrated: Unbreakable. I love that flick but rarely hear of anyone that liked it as well.
