Re: Why do men hate throw pillows?
Wait, so a duvet is something you cover your comforter with? Is that also "thrown" when you go to bed?

Re: Why do men hate throw pillows?
The better question is why do you like them? What are three practical reasons you need throw pillows?

Even when Googling back in our wedding registry days, my husband and I didn't know wtf it was. Pretty nifty, actually. Can change it out to wash and not have to wash the whole big comforter.

Re: Why do men hate throw pillows?
Sweet! Now I can clean up my dog's puke without having to take my comforter to get dry cleaned. I love this board.

Re: Why do men hate throw pillows?
I'd probably still get that dry cleaned. Or make the dog puke elsewhere. -

Did not expect this many responses so quickly isnt a comforter already covered, by itself?

What's wrong with throw pillows? because they are stupid. like pencil with no lead. what's the point?
only place they should be thrown is in the garbage. but i guess if you don't mind picking them up off of the floor every morning when your husband throws them off the bed i suppose there isn't any problem. i hope you don't expect him to place them back on the bed each day. i wouldn't.

Did not expect this many responses so quickly We know what a duvet is, we are civilized after all.

if the women didn't go "WHYD YA JUST THROW THAT ON THE FLOOR" every single time and moved/replaced it themselves
no problem.

Re: Why do men hate throw pillows?
Throw pillows do serve a purpose, they make certain things more comfortable. They are just not made to rest your head on.

Re: Why do men hate throw pillows?
The comforter is white and the cover gives the room some color. The pillows provide color, shape, texture ... and other design elements. (Husband is an architect but doesn't appreciate the elements of throw pillows)
