HDMI Cable Length
My laptop is kaput.
I'd like to watch Cyclone TV on my main HDTV, located about 35-feet from my desktop. If I spend the cash on a 35-ft HDMI cable, will I have any difficulties with: transmission; resolution; functionality?

No, I have a 25ft run to my projector and haven't had any issues.

Re: HDMI Cable Length
You shouldn't have any issues.
Also, don't "spend the cash" on buying one in store. Go to a place like Amazon and you'll see lots of 50 foot cables that cost $20-$25 and have great reviews.

This. Length doesn't matter. Get it as cheap as you can, because they're all the same on the inside.

Re: HDMI Cable Length
Only trial and error will prove if 35 ft will work with your devices. If the signal isn't strong enough, you may have trouble getting the TV to sync/handshake with the source device.
I haven't used one of these, but they may help. For only $11.25 each when QTY 50+ purchased - HDMI® Active Equalizer Extender Repeater - Extend Up to 100FT | HDMI Couplers -
