It's not a lot of pressure I just wanna know if others have waited as long a 3 years like me :) I do plan to marry her.

4 years, still not married. I think it's pretty common for people to date or even live together for a long time before tying the knot.

We dated 2 years. Engaged for 1 year. The timing was right for us. You know if it's right for you.

I said 3 years, however, we liked each other (a lot) for many months before we started dating and after we started dating it was obvious very quickly that this was it. We were actually engaged after a year, but didn't get married for a couple years because we were physically separated after that first year while I was in grad school. We got married right after I finished and moved back (14 years ago).

Do you mean before getting engaged? We dated for two and got married two months before the 3yr anniversary.

Met wife in 1998. Moved in together in 1999. Got married in 2006. Had first kid in 2008. Had 2nd kid in 2011. Best part: She is still a stick of dynamite to this very day, and a demon in the sack.

i was in a 9 year relationship and we have 2 kids together. never even thought about getting married. marriage is the devil!!... but then a year ago i met my current girlfriend and have thought about asking her to marry me... crazy how that stuff works
