    Yep, gravel from road, and a splintery board made for a safe game of rock ball. I loved the flat rocks, because you could throw some massive curves.

    Much manlier than whiffle ball, and just as hard to hit. Never wanted to get hit by the pitch though.

    No doubt. And if I remember correctly, they would only turn in one direction, and only turn when in reverse. If it was going forward there was no turning.

    I had one of these....looked WAY cool in the Sears catalog, but basically was pretty dumb. I probably played with it more turned off than on. Stationary car on the little screen and a projected road that when the steering wheel was turned, moved.
