Do you know why I put up with this 'pitiful job', Mr. Donaghy, why I fetch these folks' lunches and clean up their barfs? Cause they make television. And more then jazz, or musical theater, or morbid obesity, television is the true American artform. -

Re: Restore My Faith in Humanity
So what is stopping someone from trying to save both? I have two hands and I think I could carry at least a medium size dog and a baby at the same time.

It's a trick question. The baby is actually a time bomb.

I think a monetary value should be one of the options as well... Say, a briefcase with $100,000...

I probably die trying to save both but I would save the baby first. Unless the house completely caves in as soon as I finish saving the baby similar to what happens in the movies.

Re: Restore My Faith in Humanity
Haven't read through all of this, so I apologize if this was posted already.
Neither, I get out my phone and record it. At least take some pictures.
I'm joking for myself, but seriously, I believe half the world would do just that.
Ironic that I just saw a news story this morning where a guy was thrown on to the subway tracks in NY. Someone managed to take pictures of the guy struggling to get back on the platform, but didn't bother to try and help the guy.

And for what it's worth I'd treat this like the Captain Kirk did the Kobayashi Maru and win both.
