I'm sure there will be a community memorial service. That's going to be rough.
Also a rough time to work at the cemetery. Very busy week right before Christmas.

I'm incredibly mad about this shooting, but I'm getting very angry at the media interviewing these kids. The media needs to understand there are more important things in life then getting your story.

that seems especially sick. And it makes me a little angry at the parents letting them be interviewed. Just take them home and hug them.

Goodness, what an awful tragedy. I'm thinking about going to the cave to have a discussion about this.

I doubt they're thinking clearly. The cameras are likely just 'conveniently' in their way, so they stop without really thinking once they're asked.
I agree, but they're in shock right now.

they'll need to talk with their parents, or their classmates, or a counselor. Not to the vultures looking for the most page views.

And reporters trying to figure where parents are gathering.
The correct answer is none of your ******* business at this time.

Re: Shooting at Newtown, Conn. Elementary School - Gunman Is Dead
Just saw a tweet that the gunman has Asperger Syndrome. Interesting to see if it played any role in this.
Forever trying to find a cure for the Dunning-Kruger Effect. -

Re: Shooting at Newtown, Conn. Elementary School - Gunman Is Dead
Seems like there was plenty of wrong information reported today, the various news outlets should really be more responsible. I am not surprised though.
Regardless, this was a horrible tragedy, I still can't believe that a kindergarten class was attacked. Little kids. The gunman must have been disturbed, not in his right mind...how else could someone do this?? Ugh, those poor families.

My son just turned one a couple weeks ago. I am not in favor of more strict gun laws but I am now in favor of more secure schools. Especially in the next 4 years!

So he killed his mom at home and then went to the school? Guy deserves to rot in the deepest parts of hell.
Just can't get over this whole thing..... I don't have any kids and don't want any in the near future, but couldn't imagine what these parents are going through....

Just unreal, I won't be a father for another 6 months but can't imagine what those parents are going through.
No matter what gun control or security measures you want to put in, you can't stop crazy. That's the scariest part of being a parent.
