I would think locked doors would be a start. While the CT incident would probably still have happened, you can start the alert at the door rather than after the person gained access to the hallways and classrooms. I read that the CT doors were supposed to be locked several minutes before this happened.

I thought he shot a window out and went through that?

this is scary i walked into johnston high school today around noon had to pick up a jacket i left at the basketball game friday. the doors were not locked and not a single person checked me in

I go to Johnston and yeah... Doors are never locked, and no one would ever notice you walked in
