[QUOTE=CtownCyclone;3218285]Touched a nerve there?
that was the best smiley I could find to be something of a 6 year old saying something sassy. Not mad, just heard that line a few times this week and I feel it's important for it to be recognized that my crash last week was caused by a man. Not me. I was stopped.

Sometimes when men are desperate enough they will do anything to meet a woman.
Take it as a compliment.

Re: Midweek snow storm
NWS Des Moines @NWSDesMoines The incoming storm is looking more and more like the January 26-27, 1996 blizzard. #iawx #iowaweather NWS Des Moines @NWSDesMoines The January 1996 blizzard was one of the worst blizzards to hit central Iowa in the past 20 years. #iawx #iowaweather NWS Des Moines @NWSDesMoines The Jan 1996 blizzard was only 1 of 4 times in past 40 yrs that DSM received more than 12" of snow. 13.7" fell in DSM. #iawx -

Take it as a compliment. Ick! I'm married, and this wonderful specimen has one paternity claim against him this year, charges for battery, theft, DUIs, drugs, eviction, revoked license, no insurance, and false checks.
I would hope that if I were still single, that I would have enough self-esteem to know I could do a bit better than that. -

I'm also in a car 20 years newer than the one I had last winter. And that car, for all its faults, was a beast in the snow. So not only am I adjusting to winter driving again, I'm having to handle it with kid gloves until I know exactly how it handles.
Is that weather alert thing to your phone something new? About 20 minutes ago a bunch of phones and a radio started buzzing and they all said they got an alert. I've heard them on the radio before, but I can't remember it hitting all the phones. That's sexist -
