Hell, you'd be surprised how many people will talk to me in person about how they watch me on Channel 8 or 5 or whatever. Not unusual or shocking to get the blame for a forecast you didn't actually make.
Plus it doesn't matter, the loudest complainers are nowhere to be found when the forecast is right. Well, actually that isn't true, they're likely still talking about how we "missed" it. any of you westerners getting snow yet? State is now under a state of emergency and several area schools have already announced they are closed tomorrow.

Re: Midweek snow storm
No precip in Ames as of 3:15pm. We have an orthodontist appointment at 4, hoping it holds off a few more hrs. Hubby commutes to DSM, would like his commute home to be uneventful as well. Both of my girls' teachers moved activities planned for tomorrow to today in anticipation of no school. Hubby has also been told (by me) he won't be going to work. His boss took off for vacation last week so not many people in the office anyway. I'm pulling the "I'm 30 weeks pg, you need to be home" card. May pull it out a few more times in the next 10 weeks when the weather is bad. I hate his commute in the winter and he no longer has a heavy SUV with 4WD.

I was hoping to get to the gym yet at 5, leaving at 6pm so I'm hoping I'm ok til then. That's when the winter storm warning starts, so I think it'll be ok. Good call on making the husband stay home ;)

Gosh, I want them to call work before I go to bed tonight. Nothing like waking up to a big snowstorm and just staying in bed with no place to go :) Maybe I should run to the library quick too, and grab some good books.

True story, I cried when my mom bought my first non-picture book. (Black Beauty). Now I pout when they put pictures on the cover and they ruin what I think it should look like.
