For those predictions being as big as they are...I am surprised there is not much chatter about this storm! 8+ inches? Am I reading those charts correctly?

Probably because it's still a few days out and the models will change.

From some of the forecasts for this it looks like they are planning on a lot of wind with this?
Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

    Re: Midweek snow storm

ooooooo I'm hoping I get a work snow day on Friday..........and a white Christmas!

Even better if it results in a sledding party at my family's house that I can attend this year.

Ugh. I hope it's a wet snow, then, so that we don't have to deal with blowing/drifting snow.

Glad that I don't have to deal with that commute from Lincoln to Omaha anymore.

These 2 links should let anyone pull up their closest map of each of the models.

thanks - I had seen the little blue dots page, but when I clicked on Milwaukee, I got nothing, so I don't think I had the right link picked out.

Yes quite a bit of wind, the low is forecasted to strengthen pretty rapidly as it goes NE. I haven't looked closely at the wind profiles myself but from what I've glanced at I wouldn't be shocked if Blizzard conditions occurred over WI.
