    It will probably take a lot longer than you think it will. Maybe now that rush hour is over there will be less traffic, but between the traffic and the interstate still being pretty icepacked and the dark, I'd double the time you'd expect it to take.

    I'm glad to be home for the night. It wasn't the funnest time getting from downtown to the Jordan Creek area at 3:30.

    interstates still suck

    saw 3 jack knifed semi's in the ditch for the 10 miles i was on one

    and the drivers were still in them so it was recent

    better be good tomorrow when i return to my homeland

    Wife and I just past Atlantic on our way to Omaha from DSM. It's taken us a little over 2 hours. Have counted 45 vehicles in the ditches.

    Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver."

    I80 wasn't too bad. The first 20 miles out of west Des Moines sucked but after that not too bad. Stay in the left lane. Took me an hour longer than normal

    Looks like going to Creston tomorrow won't be too bad once south of Des Moines. Anyone else going to creston for Christmas and the peewee wrestling tournament?
