So instead of flying in on Wednesday night, I should just stay in Costa Rica?

Hell, you'd be surprised how many people will talk to me in person about how they watch me on Channel 8 or 5 or whatever. Not unusual or shocking to get the blame for a forecast you didn't actually make.
Plus it doesn't matter, the loudest complainers are nowhere to be found when the forecast is right. Well, actually that isn't true, they're likely still talking about how we "missed" it. We don't blame you Jeriann. Your by far the best meteorologist on WHO. In fact, all the female meteorologist on that channel are great. Ed Wilson is OK too. However, that Bret McIntyre guy needs some work. I don't think he has ever been right. Is he even a real meteorologist, or his he just a weather guy that regurgitates what he heard from the weather channel? -

Re: Midweek snow storm
I think there will be a bit of a northward shift over the next 48 hours and slightly slower storm movement. So, slightly more snow in the highest band... moving it about 50-75 miles further north than the models are currently pointing to.
We'll see what happens I guess.

We'll see what happens I guess. Well that would move a lot more snow into the forecast here in the North Suburbs. I just hope our new DIY ice sheet is frozen enough before the snow so we can remove it without breaking through the ice.

This morning's forecast discussion from the NWS stoped short of going with a Blizzard Watch, wouldn't be surprised to see one posted later today. National Weather Service Text Product Display

Forecast didn't call for this morning to happen. The roads here are awful. Not a lot of snow but it just keeps coming.
