Someone recommend a wireless router for my grandma? Shes getting a laptop and will prob want to move around the house. Notta fancy, just for browsing the internets. I know nothing about them as i just use the one the internet provider gives me.
I installed a cheapo belkin from walmart for a friend this summer. I was shocked how easy it was to set up (minutes vs. hours back in the bad old days (circa 2004ish). Haven't heard about any problems.

I was a victim of a series of accidents, as are we all.
I will only buy netgear routers. They actually UPDATE their firmware and add features well after release. Plus they are best and longest lasting routers i've ever owned (I have 3 running right now). Plus, for the price, even the cheap ones have a lot of features (like guest networks, "network sharing" of hard drives plugged into usb port on router, etc).
One quick note : Never buy D-Link! Worst routers i've ever had in terms of quality, updates, and lifespan.
