Headed from West Des Moines on I80 west for about 80 miles tonight. Not sure what the interstate is like that way.

Traveling to visit the sister with family on Xmas day in Lincoln. Is that storm still brewing?

Hubby just texted me that he made it to work (Ames to Clive). He said unless roads drastically improve by tomorrow we will hold off until Sunday to travel so even the interstate must be in pretty rough condition yet.

I'm traveling from chicago area to Des Moines tomorrow morning. I keep hearing that I-80 is still a mess. I hope they are able to get it cleared up today.

Hiking the Grand Canyon with my dad, brother and a few cousins and uncles a few days after Christmas. I did it when I was a sophomore in high school and it was an absolute blast. Some of the most awesome scenery I have ever seen.

Heading to Wisconsin Dells tomorrow for my in-laws (compromise between us in IC, wife's sister in Minneapolis, and her other sister visiting her in-laws in Osh Kosh). X-mas day to my family up by DBQ. As with any trek into Wisconsin, will be stocking up on New Glarus.

That's what I'm leaning towards. Give the road crews another day to work on the interstate and drive tomorrow when the sun is at it's highest.

Just drove downtown from west des Moines. Roads are still pretty bad even in town

Headed from Urbandale to Marion this afternoon. We're going regardless, the only question is will we take the Accord or the Blazer.
