    Now that I have a family of my own, I voted Christmas eve. Just like when I was a kid, X-Mas eve is for mom/dad/kids...Christmas day is going to grandma's house for the extended family.

    my family opens Christmas morning (wife's tradition). But i grew up on a farm and it was Christmas eve after dinner after my dad would have to go out and "check the hogs" or finish some chores. he would come in and we would have to wait until he cleaned up before looking outside to see the black trash bags that Santa had thrown from his sled on his way to town....
    Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver."

    Always have done it on Xmas Eve. Christmas morning we got our stockings and Santa's gifts. (Games and gag gifts mostly).

    Depends on when family is here. This Christmas we opened presents on Saturday because that's when the family is here. It may change each year though. Saved the stockings for Christmas though! (Gotta wait for Santa to fill them of course!)

    Christmas morning because it has always just been my parents, brother and I. Never did have extended family because they lived in California. Hell, didn't even have a sit down conversation with my grandparents until I was a junior in high school.
