The CIA should replace their waterboarding regiment during "enhanced interrogation" sessions with forcing prisoners to listen to TnT non-stop for a few days. That'll get 'em to talk.....oh yes.

I don't listen to them. Thanks for the suggestion. The fact they are the only local show at that time doesn't change the fact they are bad. You are free to like and listen. I am free to not like and not listen.

If this were the case would have to destroy my radio. Two total toolboxes.

Agreed. He's hilarious and should be better than what Rome is putting out over and over. Something different please.

But how do you find out the inside dish on Drake basketball?

The only reason I ever stop on their show is if they are talking to an ISU coach.

I don't care for them either, but its what we have for local sports radio aside from Murph and Andy whom I do like listening to. Cotlar is deplorable when doing the show by himself, tolerable when Garmon is with him. However, Cotlar has a rolodex a mile long, and they do a good job of getting ISU coaches and Walters on there. I don't consider TNT to be a sports show. They are awful, and it's scary to think that's the best 1460 can do for a morning show. All that said, Rome's show is the same thing every day. He and his clones need to go away.

If you take away first base, they'll just go find a new ballpark to play in.

I'm the opposite - I don't mind his radio show, but I have never enjoyed any of this TV shows. Not that I make a habit of listening to his radio show recently - I don't think I've listened to more than an hour of his radio show in the last year. I enjoy listening to Detroit sports radio much more. The funny part is it's a CBS radio network and I don't think they're picking up Rome either.

Pretty much agree with all of this. Cotlar and Garman are MUCH better together now (but agree that Cotlar is Travis & Tim bad by himself). For me, local shows go like this:

    Murph & Andy
    Miller & Brinson
Out of Bounds (Cotlar & Garman)
    radio silence
    nails on a chalk board
    Travis & Tim

I also really enjoy Umps Eye View during the baseball off season with Cooper and McClellen.

Jay needs a segment on every show for impressions. He has some great ones.

I don't follow the Hawkeyes, am I not allowed an opinion on them?

I used to listen until I couldn't take it anymore. Will listen to a replacement show. That is why I have an opinion.
