    Men's Leather Jacket

That was supposed to be my gift to my husband this year. After a decent amount of searching, we found one (70% off!), was just a bit short, so they ordered it in a long, but it's clearly a big and tall. He could fit me and our future kids in there with him.
So now we're back to the drawing board. He's 6'2, medium-framed, and just wants a classic black leather jacket. He does not like the bomber style. The one (linked below) that we got, was open bottom but had a little of the bunching/banding on the sides that kept it from flaring completely away from the body.

Any other taller guys have recommendations on where we could look?

That is a tough size (I'm 6'2 as well). I think it goes from normal size to adding 8" for a tall. It would be nice to have something in between.

yup, he runs into problems with it a lot, as I'm sure you do too. Especially if you aren't a heftier guy and don't need the big of big and tall. It seems really hard to just find a little extra length that isn't either made for NBA players or includes extra circumference.

Yep, another 6'2" guy and I feel his pain. I just wear zip ups and one nice black jacket I got from quicksilver.com

    Re: Men's Leather Jacket

I bought my M. Julian black button-up leather jacket from Wilson's about a decade ago. Other than a dry clean every once in a blue moon I haven't taken special care of it and it still looks great. Haven't even thought about replacing it because, like I said, it's still in great shape.

    I'm 6'2"-3" and a large frame guy.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

I'd never heard of this place - doesn't look like they carry M.Julian for men anymore, but they have a location near here and quite a few leather coats! Now I have an excuse to drag my husband to the outlet mall ;)

    Re: Men's Leather Jacket

I am 6' 1" 175 lbs and found my leather jacket (black rivet) at Wilson's. Fits like a glove but it took me months of looking and trying different jackets until I found the one. Just be patient and don't settle. Bluefly.com may have some designer jackets that are on sale... Ignore the really expensive ones.

Tall and thin people get the shaft when it comes to purchasing clothes, especially shirts or jackets.

This place has outstanding quality, and I believe they could answer your questions on the right fit and get you taken care of, pricier side. You can get custom sizing and it's made in the usa.

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.

I got a leather jacket at Wilsons about 10 years ago. Don't really wear it much anymore, but its still in perfect shape!

If you go to an non-outlet and find an obvious defect in the leather or scratches from other people trying on make sure to ask for a discount. Worked for me when I bought at Wilson's.
