They ran him off in Hinsdale because he yelled at the kids too much.

When I went to Naperville North, 02-05, I think we won DVC every year but WWS beat us in the playoffs at least twice. I think I hate them more than Central.

I guess while I'm bragging our town up, I should mention our boys volleyball team finished the season last year ranked #1 in the country. :twitcy:

Wow, that's weird hearing boys high school volleyball coming from small town Iowa.

Does that run during the HS football season like girls volleyball I assume?

No, they play in the spring, at the same time as track, I believe. And yeah, if I hadn't known some of the guys on the Marycrest University (in Davenport) men's volleyball team, it would have sounded utterly alien to me also. A lot of them were from the Chicago suburbs.

I wish we had it in Iowa. I would have much rather played volleyball in high school after basketball season was over, instead of running track.
