    Is there a northern style?

    Watching the Belk Bowl all the commercials keep referring to a southern style. I've heard this before- that southern life has a certain charm about it. It got me thinking- is there a northern style or a northern lifestyle? Sure we've heard of Minnesota nice but is there a northern style.

    Worked for a company near Memphis in the 90's. Slow moving city--restaurants, airport, everything.

    no trouble flying there and always got there on time from Iowa. But when departing back to Iowa, my plane I was boarding in Memphis was always coming from Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, or some other southern locale and it was invariably LATE, and my flight delayed, because of that 'southern' style > SLOOOOW.....LAZY......Indifferent....
