Wife and I have decided that we want to finish the basement. I have been doing research on the process, for example, getting multiple quotes, understanding various payment options, etc. We have created a floor layout and have discussed what other amenities we want, and have a good plan to present. However, I am struggling with finding reviews for general contractors in the Cedar Rapids area. I know there is Angie's list but you have to be a member which I am not. I was curious if there was anyone on CF who could give a recommendation or who to stay away from and why. Thanks for the help.
