Do you vote guys from the steroid era into the HOF? Bonds, Clemens, and Sosa?

Absolutely not. I wouldn't even consider voting for any of them until Pete is in.

Speaking of the HOF -- you guys HAVE to go. It's so awesome. I went last year for Barry's induction and had a phenomenal time.

10 years from now I would. Those guys played a huge role in re-popularizing baseball after the lockout and their impact on the game can't be ignored.

Now is just not the right time. They should be made to wait.

For those that think that steroids should exclude you from the Hall, how do you distinguish between steroids and amphetamines? Anecdotal evidence seems to indicate that virtually everybody was popping greenies throughout the 70's and 80's. I'm just curious why guys from that era are considered clean while the guys from the 90s are considered the spawn of Satan.

Because the media has an absolutely overwhelming impact on society.

No, I don't endorse amphetamines at all. But I think it's generally perceived as affecting the game much more to take a substance that adds power & strength rather than one that gives you added energy.
