Ive had my twitter for about 4 years now, honestly its changed my way of getting news it is up to the second, makes sporting events about 10 times better, it actually makes everything better. But you have to make sure your using it correctly

This. It's changed the way I get information. I rarely go to ESPN.com, newspaper websites, etc. Just scroll through twitter and you'll have as much information as you want...the second it breaks.

It's also great to follow while watching sports (except for last night...that sucked).

I have it, but it's not that useful. Maybe once a day, I see a link to something that's interesting that I may not have otherwise seen. Could easily live without it if I had to. I made a lot more use out of it during the fall run-up to the election. Now, not so much. I certainly don't use it to communicate to friends - the world doesn't need to see my conversations with people I know.

They only see your conversations if they follow both you and the person you are tweeting. Also they have Direct Messaging too.
