    Piano tuner recommendation?

After moving we need to have the piano tuned. Anyone have a recommendation of for an excellent piano tuner that you (or your church) has used in the Ankeny area?

    Thanks.

Guy I went to school with- lives in Ankeny and stores use him. His name is Carey Crowson. He's very good.

On a similar topics - Anyone know of a piano mover? I need to get an upright from the Cedar Falls area to the Ames area. Thought I had one lined up ... fell through.

It's worth a call to the ISU department of Music (or Drake) and ask them who they use. Might end up being someone close to you.

    Re: Piano tuner recommendation?

When I was initially looking for a mover I called a couple music stores and asked for mover and tuner recommendations. They didn't have much for moved suggestions, but they did on tuners. And naturally, I've misplaced those. Give Rieman Music a call. You could also try calling a local high school or churches for other local recommendations.
