It is a common misunderstanding people have on the origin of "international" in regards to airports and yes, it is fun to make fun of the name for DSM given we all know it is such a small airport. Just seems odd to spend a few paragraphs slamming the airport for the use of the term.
BTW....I don't hate the suburbs and don't work for city of DM.

The Register says the 2 million mark has been eclipsed for the first time ever and the passenger number are up 14.1 percent for the year through the end of November. Omaha is down 4.1 percent and KC down 8.55 percent through the same period.
(sorry, I'm being a geek on this thread set up for humor purposes).
