Distance isn't an issue. Just wondering if anyone changed things up when gearing up for something like this.
ahh, gotcha... maybe do a couple multiple runs in a day instead of just one, get your body used to working, then relaxing, then working again. Also want to plan out waht to wear. i would think multiple layers, or at least a change of shirts, maybe gloves. average low in May in des moines is 52, average high is 72, could swing about 10 degrees either way and not surprise anyone. If you run the coldest leg and the hottest, you are looking at a 20 degree temp difference to be ready for. Have not done a relay like this myself though.
