my wife ate onions like an apples when she was young.

edit: when my wife was young, her mother let her have the head of her beer. She still likes it to this day.

There is a TV show that covered this topic. People were eating toilet paper, and laundry soap, and other crap. It was like watching a bad car wreck--you just couldn't tear your eyes away.

In HS, I would eat napkins. Don't know why. Probably a "look at me" thing I guess.

Oh...I forgot about live goldfish in college as well.

My mom used to make these pickles called lime pickles which were more of a sweet pickle - nothing like a dill. I grew up taking PB and pickle sandwiches whenever I took a lunch. Everyone thought I was crazy but if they ever tried them they didn't necessarily love them but they always said they weren't bad like they thought they would be.
