Top speed of 50, just keep it slow and be alert. Mostly just sloppy and the rain is freezing onto the car were the worst part. Take it easy today clones.

Re: Jan. 26-27 Winter Storm
A friend is "stranded" on I-35 in northern Iowa. Road too slick to move so cars are stopped and backing up now.

Just drove to church. Ames roads are sloppy but I was able to go the speed limit with no issues.

Re: Jan. 26-27 Winter Storm
Roads were dry at 6:30, heard some sleet at 7:15, renters just scraped their vehicle off before going somewhere.

Anyone been out on 80/35 in DSM? In Ankeny and looking to head to WDM.

Salt trucks are on the way and some semis are going to attempt to make a path for traffic after the salt trucks.
