So you don't work as it is anyway, unless it's giving predatory loans to people who have no hope of paying them off or swimming in a pool full of money ala Scrooge McDuck.

this is a great idea
we could just scrap Columbus Day entirely, regardless of whether or not they use the additional day for the Super Bowl. Talk about a worthless holiday.

Someone also started a petition that the US government should build an actual Death Star.

But then again, you can just take out a loan from the entire planet and then default on them in the most awesome way possible.
I support this!
Re: whitehouse.gov petition to make Super Bowl Monday national holiday
I have been saying the Superbowl should be on a Saturday for years now. How stupid is it that the most watch sporting event in the country with the most parties gets over around 11pm Eastern?

Or maybe move the start time to 3:00 Eastern, 2:00 Central, 1:00 Mountain and Noon Pacific. Does anyone actually watch 6 hours of pregame hype? I so don't care about the reserve kicker's 3rd grade teacher who has shingles.
Re: whitehouse.gov petition to make Super Bowl Monday national holiday
100k strong for a SEZ project IMO.

Let's be honest, regardless of original intent, for a lot of people our current holidays are just an excuse to get drunk and be hung over on a Monday. See Labor Day, Memorial Day, MLK Day, etc.
Re: whitehouse.gov petition to make Super Bowl Monday national holiday
Sweet, another holiday for poeple who's salaries come from our taxes. Teachers and Government employees. The majority of everyone else will be at work on Monday.
