I will admit, I think it's just something that isn't my style. I like more absurd humor, like how I previously mentioned Airplane and Spinal Tap. Or dark humor, like Wes Anderson movies and Little Miss Sunshine.

The single funniest scene in cinema is when Royal Tenenbaum tells Etheline that he's dying.

The second funniest might be when the Dude crashes his car after dropping a lit roach between his legs and pours beer on it.

Sort of? I chuckled. The driving through the mall thing I'd seen before - I don't remember what movie, it may have come out afterwards, but it was sort of just not a huge moment for me. It probably would have helped if I'd seen this movie when I was younger and closer to when it came out, instead of at 24 or so after it had been out for almost 20 years (ballpark).

I do love me some Big Lebowski, too. Part of that movie is the great acting setting off a totally absurd situation.
