Anyone ever (knowingly) eaten horse before?

Re: Burger King, have you been putting horsemeat in your Whoppers?
Just in certain locations in the United Kingdom where the meat from one vendor went. This stuff is likely happening all the time everywhere. You never know what you are really eating. Especially this day and age.

Basically a lot of the fast food joints bleach the meat and inject their flavors into it.

The bleaching I was referring to is the "bleaching" of the flavors out of the meat. Then they add the flavors back into the meat chemically so that the meat has that signature taste that they want you to have. In Fast Food Nation it describes how places like McDonald's have their flavors come from a chemistry set and not from the actual food.

I know its horrible for me..as for the details, I don't want to know. I don't care if I was actually eating some panda/lizard meat combo that's been infused with untested controversial chemicals from a lab in Mexico..as long as I never hear the specifics. Ignorance is bliss.
