-Amen. Or goes to a kegger on a farm.... In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti “They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. There's a lot of people who don't know better, who believe that farms are simply multinational companies that destroy the environment and collect subsidy checks. At the same time, a lot of people who believe water comes from the tap, food comes from the grocery stores. I know a lot of people who fall into both of these categories, mostly from my urban year of living in Chicago.

Re: God Made A Farmer commercial = EPIC!
Just showed this to my mom who didn't see it last night. She did grow up on a farm and she got very emotional watching it. Part of me really wishes I had grown up a country boy.

Oh you would be amazed at the number of people that are clueless where their food comes from and that's not just people that live on the coasts. They also have no idea how many items they use daily come from animal byproducts.

Re: God Made A Farmer commercial = EPIC!
I to really liked the commercial. It's been a long time since I've heard Paul Harvey. But to be fair he was a little off on his historical facts. First off we all know what the worlds oldest profession is so that had to come on day 8. Next came the hunter/gatherers followed by the Politicians/priests then the tax collectors. Probably next came the soldiers and then the builder/architects. Only then did he create farmers. So I'd say that makes it at least day 14 give or take a day for rest. And on day 15 the was created. Good Day!

the guy that used to combine our corn was in golfing in FL on vacation and got to talking about his job. Something came up about what would happen if there were no more farmers.
"Well, we'll just plant more corn trees!"
