Memphis hotels
I went to bowl game and stayed down by airport because we had several people flying in for game. I'm going back in March for a trade show at Convention Center. Would like to stay near Downtown/Beale St area.
Any Fanatics have good or bad hotel experience in that area? Looking to spend $100-$150 range (or less).
Also would take any recommendations on food or live music venues in that area.

Re: Memphis hotels
I was very happy with the spring hill suites by marriot downtown. hotel bar. nice rooms. on the trolley path but also walkable to beale. as far as music. the best music without a doubt for all the nights I was there was Juke Joint. Not only GREAT music but just a great scene. Small (I think only 3 tables), beat up, but lots of character.

Re: Memphis hotels
The Hampton Inn overlooked the park where the Pep Rally was held. Great price and right in the middle of the action!
