Generally we have to have a vote in by 9:05 every week night. We don't play on weekends. If there is a weeknight b-ball game we usually either extend later or vote earlier. Usually later I think. I am a relatively new player as well but it's fun and a good way to cyberloaf at work.

I am however an expert at cyberloafing. I usually pull a Peter Gibbons from Office Space and get most of my work done in a frantic 15 minutes. I'm still better at my job than quite a few of my peers though!

There will be formal rules in the first posts of the actual game thread. One other rule that you will want to be aware of. If you don't vote for two days, you are "clapped" and out of the game.

Honestly though, a lot of times people that are quiet and just get on to vote last a while. Post happy guys like me get in trouble and look suspicious.

Then there's Fitzy who gets killed early and fluffs the place up like a mofo!

Thanks...but I'll probably just lurking around the south suburbs and not going to Chicago proper. (I'm from a smaller unheard-of suburb. I will be gobsmacked if anyone in this thread has heard of Mokena)

oh we never go into actual Chicago either, just west suburbs. We were just there this weekend for a family thing, and then my husband was nice enough to be all "let's go to Woodfield since you were looking for a dress for Vegas"

Trust me to be the one woman who goes to one of the largest malls in the states and still can't find a damn dress. Or at least one not costing an arm and a leg. So we had pizza afterward.
