Two border collies for me. Both rescue dogs. Black one is Lacey and brown is Ginger. Ginger went blind about a year and a half ago due to some rare condition where her body doesn't burn fats properly and it was crystalizing in her organs and eyes. Several thousand in pet bills to figure that out and a low fat diet for the rest of her life. Healthy as an ox and still plays a great game of fetch with a tennis ball in the backyard. Didn't slow her down a bit.
I don't currently have a dog so I am going historic and/or borrowed here:
Mike the dalmatian, circa 1960 or so, riding on top of my dad's truck! Attachment 18199
The late Sasha and Simba, worlds most awesome basenjis, with super master Boxstercy, circa 1997. They inexplicably moved from Minnesota to Texas in 2000 with super mastress. Attachment 18200
My buddy Spooner, the senior beagle and unofficial mayor of my neighborhood. Been free roaming the neighborhood for 13 plus years. Drives some the neighbors crazy but I love the little rascal. Attachment 18201
These are my 2 Girls. Bailey is a 7 month old Vizsla she was 4 months in this picture. Shelby is a 2 year old Black Lab, German Shorthair mix. These Pups are my wife and I's entertainment until we are ready to have kids.
This is Pig The Wonder Cat. He's about 14 now, got him just after his eyes were open and his mama met an unfortunate demise. Bottle fed him for what seemed like an eternity. He's blind in one eye. Cantankerous. Big personality. My constant companion. Only the fireplace can be a bigger draw than my lap or beside me in bed. (Fireplace is right beside the Christmas tree, so this is his little Holiday Heat Cave)
