Not Everyone Gets to be an Astronaut When They Grow Up: What is Your Dream Job?
I'm filling in for cowgirl today by starting another off-topic "share all" thread to go along with Angie's.
I have two dream jobs. One is getting paid to play my guitar. The other is being the general manager of a baseball team. The reality is a little more Costanza-esque.

First was a baseball player.
Second was a landscape designer for Disney in Florida. Always thought the landscaping was amazing there and wanted to be a part of the experience. I just finished up my phone interview for an internship down there so my second dream could become a reality.

I wouldn't mind being a big shot executive chef for a fancy restaurant...but I always figured if I won a big powerball or something I would open a sports bar and a wood shop where I could build furniture and stuff at my leisure.

My dream up even until jr year of college was to be the voice of the cyclones. When I started interviewing for jobs after graduation and the best offer I had to work in radio was 19,600 with a chance to make 4k more if I wanted to sell some ads. I liked doing radio work a lot but not that much. I still do some college and HS games on a fill-in basis, but when I am doing a post game show and the only person left in the school is the janitor on a Tuesday night, I am remembered why I don't do that as my fulltime job. One thing I would have a tough time turning down right now is the opportunity to be a college football coach.
Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.
