The cops gave this ******* an opportunity to end his own life dishonorably and he took it, which is a good thing since he put the life of a child in danger.

He survives an ied device exploding his humvee in Iraq. Comes home to a wife that wants a divorce then loses custody of his kid in the divorce. I know a few people, that if all of this happened to them, would probably drive their car into a cop car at 100+ mph. What he did is still a dick move, but that's a lot to digest when your heads all f'd up from being blown up.

Less the kid in the car, I would have some sympathy for that.
