Standing or sitting?

How do you wipe? I got into this with some friends, and it was about a 50/50 split.

I didn't know sitting was an option until I had a very detailed discussion with the lady after a very unpleasant post-drinking experience the next morning. Long story short, I left a mess, she asked how, I guessed during the cleansing stage, and she said "sit and wipe like a normal person."

I thought she was weird until I googled about 50% of the population are sitters on the ********.

Haha. I'm a stander. I feel like I have more control of the situation when standing as opposed to sitting

I guess I have never heard of standing. This seems like a risky move to me. I mean if something is hanging on I'd prefer to be seated for it's safe landing. Sure you may get a cold splash but I'll take that over the risk of it's landing being on my shoe!

Also, sitting is rough on the toilet seat. I find myself tightening it quite a bit. I've also pinched myself on the seat a few times which is quite unpleasant.
