    It sounds like there was a car accident that broke the gas line and caused the explosion.

    Oh KC. The cops said a car accident caused the gas leak, the fire department said it wasn't a car accident, the city manager didn't know, and somebody told CNN it was a construction contractor.

    Kansas City Manager Troy Schulte said officials don't yet know if anyone was killed in the explosion, which destroyed a restaurant, JJ's.

    Tonight. The restaurant in KC Country Club Plaza was destroyed.
