Do you think that guy was mad when we ruined their undefeated season?

I wouldn't beat a son if he cheered the Hawks, but I would lock him in the basement and feed him table scraps until he comes around.

This is a case that needs some "due unto dad as he did unto child".

Seems ok to me. Who wouldn't beat their child if they rooted for the Hawks, am I right?

My biggest fear is my girls become huskerland fans being as I live in Omaha. My wife is a UK grad so that's another ball of **** I will have to deal with. So many possible bad decisions surrounding them lol.

The ironic thing is that this kid will be a huge Sooner fan for life. It is amazing to me how most people don't understand people at all.
My kids have never lived in Iowa and I've always said that I don't care who they cheer for, and they have both chosen to cheer for the Cyclones (and our local Chippewas).

My wife graduated from U of I, has an MA from Texas, and will have a PhD from Texas... I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that there's no way in hell my kids will cheer for the Cyclones. And there are times when I wouldn't wish the existence of being a Cyclone fan on anyone else, so I certainly wouldn't begrudge my kids if they chose to be UT fans.
If they chose to be Nebraska fans, though, those kids will need to find new parents, because I won't tolerate that ****.

For some reason I laughed way too hard after reading the title of this thread and then the first line right after. Well done Janny

According to police, after a 9-year-old boy told a classmate in school that he roots for OU not OSU, the boy’s father, Gannon Mendez, then allegedly beat the boy at home with a wooden paddle. I can only assume the paddle he used was a Pokes Paddle? CY-CL-ON-ES! Cyclones!
