I would never get a paczki from there on Fat Tuesday, but other than that I am perfectly happy with donuts from Dunkin' Donuts (or most other donut places).

Oh - and I love their black coffee with cinnamon flavoring. No milk, cream, or additional sugar.

Wonder if the lobby is only 5a-10p and drive thru is 24, or vice versa

Wasn't there a Dunkin' Donuts on Lincoln Way down by Duff? At least while I was there in the 90's. Seems to me there was a reason they closed up at one time. Not sure what they did to make it a go. Apparently they spiked their coffee with meth?
Ranking of doughnuts for me:
1. Highland Park Doughnuts, 6th Ave, Des Moines
2. Daylight Donuts, Ankeny, specifically donut holes or jelly filled glazed bizmarks
3. Krispy Kremes, especially fresh off the conveyor, preferably in Vegas.
