    Re: PS3 / XBox360 / Wii

My Xbox360 finally crapped out on me about 2 months ago so I called Microsoft and they sent out a box to ship it back in. Well that took me like 1 1/2 months to do since I never found the time to find the nearest UPS store and I got it back today. They turned it around in about 2 weeks and didn't just fix my old one they sent me a brand new one just made on the 9th of November plus a free month of Live Gold. That is some good customer service even if it came because my first one pooped out on me. Just thought I would share.

I am in the process of replacing my Wii right now. Luckily I have one to borrow for a bit.

My brother in law had his Wii break. After a firm ware update it just wouldn't turn back on. The part the really stunk was he lost all of his saves.

They did the exact same thing for my husband this summer! Took him a while for them to get the box to us, but their turnaround time was really fast. Unfortunately, it broke two days before NCAA Football came out, so he just went out and bought a used one to play on until the other one got back.

Yeah mine broke a couple weeks after I got NCAA '08 so I hadn't even finished my season yet. Oh well at least it will seem like a new game to me now.

I've played all 3 to some extent. My money went with the 360 - exclusive titles and value were the deciding factors.

    Re: PS3 / XBox360 / Wii

I think I'm itching towards a PS3. The graphics aren't as good as 360, but I think the game selection will get better, and never have had any issues with my other versions of Playstations. There seems to be a lot of issues with 360 of bugs, and crashes, etc.

Now I'm waiting for the package bundle to include a game instead of a blue-ray movie! I will definately have one before NCAA comes out. I have Madden on Wii and I can say I miss playing those games on a regular console.

I just ordered this on Monday from bestbuy.com. 80 gig PS3 motorstorm with 5 free blueray DVD's. all for $499. I thought it was a good deal.

Whats motorstorm? Call me ignorant, but I have not clue why it has that name.

well, if you want to play all your PS2 games, make sure you don't buy the 40GB PS3. One of the ways that they reduced the price was to remove backwards compatability. Kind of a knob job if you ask me. The 80 GB model can play them, but it's more expensive. Also, the 40GB version has fewer USB ports so you can't have as many peripherals plugged in, unless you buy a hub. So make sure you get one of those if you want to play a game like Rock Band.

Sounds like a pain in butt. What is it with sony? They have this attitude "we can do what we want, charge what we want, because people will buy it" They just assume we are stupid sheep.
