Probably just didn't want to say "Texas or panhandle hooker..."
No if you want a name the next one will be more like the clipper variety.
When I lived in the Panhandle, I heard the term "Panhandle Hooker" used by the meteorologists frequently. Definitely caught me by surprise the first few times I heard it!
Ok, its almost March.............time to warm up and open up the golf courses. Seriously i think the courses around here have been open by March 15-20th the past 5 years. Don't want an April start.
Agreed! I'm pretty sure this is THE year that my golf game finally takes the step to that next level!
As far as us needing moisture goes, I'd be perfectly fine with overnight thunderstorms for 3-4 nights a week.
Man, hope this crap stops for my wedding on March 16th!
If not, you could offer hot chocolate to those attending. Maybe get married in an igloo? Have a snowman officiate? Ride off on a snowmobile? Just some ideas.

Good call on that one. People might not go out for a St. Paddys party on the 17th, so they'll be amped up for the 16th.
You having an open bar? I didn't get my invite.
Can we stop doing weather threads like a week out? Maybe start them closer to the actual day....
Just my two cents. I'm sure I'll get ripped by all the weather gurus here. But c'est la vie.
If I just wanted to know the forecast a day or two before the event, I could go to a weather site then. I like getting a behind the curtain look at the modeling and forecasting that goes on leading up to a storm. These threads are fun.
